SIMPLY LA: what a whirlwind! On Saturday, August 11th we descended upon The Americana at Brand in Glendale for a jam-packed day of panels, breakout sessions, brand activations, and content creation!

The SIMPLY LA Fashion & Beauty Conference Powered by Who What Wear kicked off bright and early with Emeraude Toubia's keynote conversation at 9AM. SIMPLY founder Sarah Boyd interviewed the Shadowhunters actress about breaking stereotypes as a Latina actress, her fashion & beauty evolution, and upcoming projects.

Aspiring and up-and-coming influencers were in for a treat with the Influencer Track panels & breakout sessions.

Sazan Hendrix, Alisha Marie, and Ale La Chula shared their advice on growing social media engagement with Sara Snyder of YouTube. Kristine Thompson and Sarah Parker dished on how to land deals as an influencer. An all-star panel of stylists that included The Only Agency's Law Roach, Maeve Reilly, Etienne Ortega, and Candice Lambert inspired the audience to launch their own styling careers.

On the Digital Marketing Track, influencer managers and brands could delve into the technical side of digital marketing with advanced panels and breakout sessions.

Jim Mulhearn, Puno, Lindsay Fultz, and Kendra Bracken-Ferguson talked influencer marketing and analytics tools with Charell Star. Jessie Butner of Go Fish Digital took a deep dive into the mysterious world of SEO. Clique Media's Rachel Zeilic interviewed Ali Grant, Becca Tilley, Gigi Ouf, and Emily Hecht about how to successfully run an influencer campaign. The social media directors from Revolve, Ban.do, and BH Cosmetics shared their strategies for creating engaging brand social media content.

We concluded the day with a keynote conversation with actress and Foster Grant spokesmodel Kat Graham, who discussed fashion, social media, and celebrity with Who What Wear editor Kristen Nichols.
