In May 2011, entrepreneur Elizabeth Kott, realized she was closet rich- meaning the majority of her fiscal worth was tied up in her wardrobe. While this resulted in a wealth of style, it was quickly perpetuating a lack of closet space and more importantly...funds. With the notion that others might be facing a similarly stylish dilemma, Kott set out to create a concept that provided the closet rich of the world an opportunity to sell and donate their fashionable treasures. ClosetRich.com launched in August 2011 and has quickly become THE online shopping destination for women to score pre-loved and vintage finds direct from the closet's of the fashion and entertainment industry's most well dressed inhabitants. In edition to running her own brand, Kott, who previously held court as Digital Marketing and Content Manager for Rachel Zoe and The Zoe Report, works with fellow entrepreneurs as a digital and creative branding consultant.
