SS: What is one thing you wish you knew when you first started blogging? One thing I wish I knew when I first started blogging was that it was going to be hard. I thought I could just throw stuff up on a blog and people would come read it, but it takes hard work and dedication to build a successful blog. There were times when I felt discouraged, but I kept posting and kept putting in the time, and it really paid off. I started gaining more and more traffic, and collaborations started rolling in!

SS: Who do you look up to? And why? There are so many people that I look up to, but when I’m really feeling lost or need great inspiration, Caitlyn Covington from Southern Curls & Pearls is who I look for. She has effortless style and always has great tips and looks on her blog.

SS: How important is social media to growing your following? Do you have a strategy? Social Media is so important in growing your following. I get most of my blog traffic from my posts on social media. My main strategy is consistent quality posts. I try to post three times per day on social media, and I also try to interact and respond with everyone!

SS: What is the most challenging aspect of maintaining a successful blog? The most challenging part of maintaining a successful blog is trying to balance it with being a mom, a wife, and having a personal life.
