Trend: Textured classics with an edge
"I love the juxtaposition of the edginess that comes with texture and the restraint that comes from the classic tailoring and shapes. It's slightly demure and ladylike but it's sexy. It feels like a smart and powerful woman - not a girl. I would style all of these pieces with a pair of killer high heels - to me heels are a must! A nice pair of pointy toes or strappy heels always polishes up a look. Because each piece has an edge to it, however, I would deconstruct it a little. For example, I would combine the pencil skirts with a top with a more boxy silhouette with a belt, or a comfortable slouchy sweater to balance things out. I would combine the fitted leather body suit with a tailored midi-length white circle skirt and pair a slouchy loose white t-shirt with the leather pants."
